Craig has always had a keen interest in creating and directing theatre.
At the age of seventeen, alongside his best mates in school, Craig was a founder member of Dyffryn Conwy Theatre company. The young creatives produced a schools version of Blood Brothers, which toured around North Wales and over to Liverpool!
Dyffryn Conwy Theatre Company were then sponsored by North wales Police and they toured schools with a devised production called ‘Stranger Danger’.
Fast forward to 2012 and Craig went on to create, direct and produce the theatre show Whingeing Women, which was a sell out all over the UK. Vuguru Studios, in Los Angeles, discovered the women and optioned the screen rights to the show. Craig then co – produced the show alongside Bill Kenwright at the Theatre Royal in Windsor, which Craig also directed.
In 2016 Craig created and directed the show ‘Real Women’ at The Playhouse Theatre in London's West End. (Sponsored by Shewee)
In 2017 Craig created the sequel ‘Real Women - At it again…’ which he directed and produced at Venue Cymru, Llandudno. (Sponsored by Mooncup)
In the same year, he also directed 'The Ruby Slippers' at The Arts Theatre in the West End.
Other directorial credits include Shopping and F**king, Dahling you were Marvellous, Growing Pains, Show and Tell, Chavenue and various pantomimes and concerts.
Craig enjoys creating theatre through the verbatim process.
